CONFIRMED:‘One of the best’ players in Spain wants to join Chelsea, as Enzo Maresca’s move revealed.

Chelsea has given the green light on the deal to sign Marc Guiu from Barcelona this summer.

And Enzo Maresca has already made claims that they still need more players before the summer window closes.

Chelsea have reportedly been interested in signing more young talent this season following the takeover by Enzo Maresca.

The Blues completed the move for Palmeiras wounderkid Estevao Willian and Tosin Adarabioyo earlier this month and will be looking forward to completing the Marc Guiu deal sooner.

It’s been reported that the deal has been sent and yet to be signed by the transfer officials, signifying that Chelsea are very close to securing the deal ahead of Bayern, who were reportedly interested in the deal as well.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are yet to find a suitable option to pair with Nicolas Jackson in the forward line.

It’s been cleared that Chelsea still had substitutes like Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueuke, and Mykhailo Mudryk, but it seems one of the three has not proven his worth since joining Chelsea in West London.

Nicolas Jackson has always been salvaged by fans owing to his inconsistency in finding the back of the net, and the manager is up to build his confidence by signing another player to bolster his position.

So there’s bound to be competition within Chelsea’s forward line next season.

However, Chelsea may still end up signing just one player this season, as most of the deals are becoming unrealistic.

Chelsea initially had interest in signing John Duran from Aston Villa, but they handed in a release clause, which would have seen the Blues joke with their midfielder Conor Gallagher if they were trying to make the deal a success.

And Sesko’s deal was one that was alarming but wasn’t yet successful, as the player ended up pening a new contract with his club.

So Chelsea is left with just one close option, which is Marc Guiu, who will undoubtedly finalize his move before the week runs out.
