Enzo Maresca has almost finalized his deal on his striker option, and many names have emerged recently on their wishlist.

The most memorable names are Jonathan David and Marc Guiu, but it seems the Blues are the only top contenders for Barcelona striker Marc.

Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca has already made transfer plans for the 18-year-old, awaiting confirmation, and the only striking remnant is that of Lelles center forward Jonathan David.

It’s been reported earlier that Chelsea are currently linked with the striker earlier this season in order to further bolster their forward situation.

But the financial situation is what has appeared to keep them still till this time.

Nicolas Jackson was always the one trusted savior at the center forward position, but the new manager has made claims that he needs another player at that spot, meaning Chelsea is up to signing another center forward.

Undoubtedly, Nicolas Jackson needs a supporter or someone he should compete with at least to take care of his inconsistency.

For the deal to come true, Chelsea are supposed to complete a £17–21 million bid in order to sign Jonathan David.

However, Chelsea’s plan is still unrealistic for the Jonathan David deal because they may end up breaking the FFP rule if they give in to their three main transfers without selling more players.

Chelsea are currently behind the Marc Guiu deal for now, and further announcements may come at a later time.
