Paris Saint-Germain defensive midfielder Manuel Ugarte is keen on making a move to Chelsea this summer.

According to a report from Traspasos, Manuel Ugarte’s future at PSG is uncertain, and there are high chances of him parting ways with the French club ahead of next season. Chelsea are one of the clubs linked with the Uruguayan international, and those around him consider West London to be an ideal destination for him.

 

Ugarte made a name for himself at Sporting CP before making the move to the Ligue 1 giants last summer. The defensive midfielder was involved in 37 matches in his debut campaign and even contributed to three goals.

 

Is PSG ready to sell Ugarte?

He did get significant minutes last season, but the 23-year-old was not involved in the majority of their important fixtures. While his contract at PSG runs until the summer of 2028, there is uncertainty around his future.
