Chelsea’s move for new strikers is set to come to an end sooner as Manager makes a fresh plan, which will see them miss out on the transfer of Omorodion.

Initially, Chelsea had interest in signing the Spaniard winger Omorodion but left with a slim possibility after keeping an eye on Marc Guiu recently.

The player joined Alaves on a loan move to play in the La Liga and has proven to be one of the best performers, and Chelsea were reportedly involved in the race of signing him.

But things turn around, as Chelsea have shown that they aren’t interested in signing him anymore.

Omorodion progress has not gone unnoticed during the last season. He grabbed nine goals in 35 La Liga outings for Alaves last term, and Chelsea have seen enough of him to want to take him to Stamford Bridge.

He scored in both Alaves’ meetings with Barcelona, while he also hit the back of the net in each encounter with Villarreal.

Speaking about Chelsea’s interest in Omorodion on Substack, the transfer expert said: “It won’t happen for this money (€30 million), and that’s what Atletico Madrid told Chelsea directly, so let’s see what they decide to do now, but Atletico really want to keep the player, and they believe he can do fantastically next season under Diego Simeone.

“But with Chelsea, we never know what could happen, and they could attack the situation again, with contacts still taking place on the player side.”

Chelsea have missed out on signing three famous options this summer, including Sesko and Victor Osimhen, who all signed another contract with their respective clubs.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will continue their pursuit of Omorodion. If they do not, then that is another striker to cross off their list.
