Chelsea Ends Striker’s Chase Due To Financial Bubble

Chelsea Ends Striker’s Chase Due To Financial Bubble.

According to reports, Chelsea are not in the market to buy swedish international Alexander Isak this summer.

Chelsea have already made an initial inquiry for the Sweden striker but, given that club’s problems with meeting profitability and sustainability rules (PSR), there is considerable doubt at St James’ Park that they would be capable of paying a sum possibly well in excess of £100m for the 24-year-old.

It’s said that, Newcastle will do everything in their power to keep Alexander Isak on Tyneside and have let Chelsea and Arsenal know that it would take an astronomical offer to alter that stance

According to report, Newcastle will not be selling Isak to Chelsea and will not consider any thought of his departure, with Arsenal also keen on his service.

The swedish striker is very happy at the club, settled in the North East, and a new contract talks have even been suggested by the club hierarchy.

It’s thought that Chelsea would have to fork out in excess of the club-record £115m fee paid for defensive midfielder Moises Caicedo last summer, marking a sizeable profit on the £63m Newcastle paid Real Sociedad to land Isak in August 2022.
