Chelsea have been linked with a £30 million player that would go straight into the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have been linked with a £30 million player that would go straight into the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea completed their last season with a sixth-place positive position on the Premier League table, but it appeared that Mauricio Pochetinno was the only manager to play 32 players for the long run.

Even clubs like Arsenal were only secured by 25 players, followed by Manchester United, who also played limited players.

But it seems the new manager will make a gradual transition in his statement after seeing through the market with numerous options on their wishlist.

Recently, Chelsea pundits have expressed some opinions amid Aaron Ramsdale’s exit from Arsenal.

The Gunners shot stopper has been linked with a move this summer after being left on the bench for a while, putting Chelsea in the blink of securing him this summer.

Jason Cundy says the Chelsea target would start

Jason Cundy believes that Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale, who’s been linked with a move to Chelsea, is better than any goalkeeper currently at the club.

He’s claimed that the 26-year-old gloveman would go straight into Chelsea’s XI ahead of Djordje Petrovic or Robert Sanchez.

When discussing Ramsdale’s future at Arsenal, Perry Groves said on talkSPORT: “They will let him go. Would you take him, Chelsea?”

Cundy responded, “I think we probably would actually.”

Groves added, “He is better than what you have got.”.

Cundy agreed: “He is better than what we have. I don’t disagree with that.”

Aaron Ramsdale links

Journalist Simon Phillips reported via his Substack this week that Chelsea’s board is actually split when it comes to their interest in signing Arsenal’s Ramsdale this summer.

Ramsdale is a decent goalkeeper regularly in the squads of Arsenal and England, but the fact is he’s not the first choice in-between the sticks for either.

The Chelsea Chronicle agrees that Ramsdale could be a slight improvement for the Blues in the goalkeeping department. However, the £30 million Englishman (

Sky Sports) is hardly a banker.
