Chelsea’most concrete’ for signing: Track leading player to Blue could ‘evolve positively’.

Enzo Maresca has had talks with sporting directors about the ongoing transfer and possibly adding more depth to the forward line.

Despite having more famous names there, the Chelsea manager is still not satisfied with the structure of his forwards and will heartily give in to another deal that has emerged recently.

It’s been reported that Chelsea is a great admirer of Jonathan David. The youngster has gained much praise from his manager owing to his incredible performance and will serve as a great boast for the Blues if the deal is finalized.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is currently behind the deal and will probably finalize their decision before the end of the week.

The 24-year-old has indicated with interest that he really admires West London and is significantly praising his mentor Eden Hazard’s after breaking his record at Les Dogues, France.

David was able to score 19 times in just 34 appearances, helping Les Dogues reach the fourth position and secure the Europa League as well.

He has also been the first player to break Eden Hazard’s record after scoring a hat-trick in the Lleweë final.

However, if Chelsea are well fortunate to secure his services, they should expect to have another Eden Hazard, as he will be crucial in the center forward position to support Nicolas Jackson.

Meanwhile, David has just twelve months remaining on his current contract at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, signifying that he may decide to opt for the West Londoners.

Chelsea had already started their focus on finding a perfect option for their center forward to support Nicolas, and David has fulfilled all the requirements needed by the club’s manager.

So a possible deal may come up this week, and probably Chelsea will still fight to finalize their deal with Marc Guiu from Barcelona this week as well.
