Chelsea are still talking about signing a prolific goal scorer, particularly a number nine who will outrun Nicolas Jackson and possibly convert better than Christopher Nkunku at that position.

The telegraph reported earlier that Chelsea new manager Enzo Maresca has made claims that he needs a left back, a goalkeeper, and a striker this summer.

But it seems the Blues aren’t ready to make more of a sensational Solnain striker who is currently linked to English clubs.

Early reports have claimed that Chelsea are up to selling three players, Conor Gallagher, Trevor Chabola, and Marc Cucurella, to build up funds for a possible transfer.

And possibly they will make up the deal by signing more options this summer.

In addition, Bundesliga side Leipzig is willing to sell their emerging talent for the right price. It is stated that he’s currently valued at £45 million.

Benjamin Sesko would be a top signing.

The Chelsea Chronicle really likes the idea of the Blues signing Sesko. Therefore, it’s crushing news that Arsenal have their noses in front during this latest transfer saga.

In his first year playing in Germany, Sesko finished the 2023–24 season with an impressive 18 goals in 42 matches for Leipzig.

The young attacker has the pace, strength, and composure that make him a seriously exciting prospect for Premier League teams.

Described as “very fast” by agent Elvis Basanovic in 2021 (AS), Sesko would be the ideal competition at Chelsea for Jackson next season. Will he be lining up across London in a red shirt, though?
