From onset I don’t like Chelsea as a club,I don’t know why my own national teammate will have to agree terms with them despite my advice.” Vigil Dijk CONFIRMED His £40 million international teammate has agreed personal terms to join Chelsea.

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Wolves over a move that would see Pedro Neto trade Molineux for Stamford Bridge.

According to Football London, the Blues are on the brink of signing the 24-year-old winger. Chelsea and Wolves have reached an agreement with the Blues to pay the Midlands-based club £51 million (plus £2.5 million in add-ons).

There is no doubt that Enzo Maresca would be one of the winners for Chelsea. The Italian is right at the start of his reign at Stamford Bridge, and adding a winger as immensely talented as Neto could make the head coach’s life a whole lot more straightforward.

Maresca showed during his brief time with Leicester City that the system he plays with relies heavily on wingers. The early indication is that it will be the same at Chelsea.

Nicolas Jackson would be another player to surely benefit from the club bringing Neto in. The Portugal international provided nine assists for his Wolves teammates last season in the Premier League, so Jackson will be hoping he can produce such form again in a Chelsea shirt in the upcoming season.

It’s an obvious one, isn’t it? Noni Madueke would surely be the biggest loser if Chelsea were to sign Neto. The England Under-21 international, at the moment, seems to be Maresca’s go-to man on the right wing, but if Neto were to be signed, then it would surely be difficult for Madueke to get back in the team.

Having Neto around will surely mean we get to see Cole Palmer in a more central role for the upcoming season. Neto also showed during his time at Wolves that he can be played on the left wing, which is not good news for the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling.
