He gave us hope today,if not for Him our rivals could have been mocking us by Now,I really owe Him a lot as his best teammate", Cole Palmer reveals the One Chelsea player that really saved them from Humiliation today - Not Jackson, not Neto

Enzo Maresca faced the press at Molineux following Chelsea's highly entertaining 6-2 victory against Wolves.

A second-half hat-trick for Noni Madueke ensured all three points for the Blues, who are now off the mark in the Premier League and under Maresca. Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer scored the opening two goals for Chelsea while Joao Felix wrapped it up late on in his second debut for the club.

Maresca was delighted with what he saw from his side - particularly in the second-half. Here is every word the Italian had to say post-match...

What did you say to your players at half-time?

"I just said in a delicate way that we need to be more accurate. In the first-half, we started the first 10 or 15 minutes very good and then we had a few clear cut chances with Noni.

"Then we started to lose easy balls, conceding set-pieces, lose confidence - and this already happened the other day against Servette. I just said to play in the way we want to play; we need to be a little bit more accurate. We can lose the ball if they press us very intense but we cannot lose the ball just giving away for the wrong decision. The difference between the first and second halves was about being more accurate."

Noni Madueke annoyed a few people [with his social media post]. Are you happy with his response?

"To be honest, I didn't know. They just mentioned to me now but I didn't know about Noni's social post. I can judge Noni's performance - it was fantastic. Not only the second-half but also the first-half, he was always one-v-one creating something.

"From day one I've said he is the kind of winger I really like. He is working really well for us. The best thing today from Noni was not his hat-trick but the way he defended. 90 minutes, that showed the right mentality that I'm demanding from the players.

"For Chris Nkunku; he played five minutes and was pressing everyone. Joao Felix was the same. If we want to build something important; then first of all we need the right mentality and that was very good."

Do you have to remind your players about their social media activity?

"I am the kind of person who trusts people. I think people are mature enough to know what is correct and not correct. In this case, I think Noni is mature enough to understand what he did, if it's correct or not correct."

Is there a better young player in the Premier League than Cole Palmer?

"I know Cole already four or five years. I had him for an entire season at City with the second team and then with the first team. He is a special player, a special guy and a special person.

"I am not surprised at all about the goals he scored last year, the goal he scored today, the assists. Cole is a top player."

How is Romeo Lavia?

"Hamstring problem, an irritation. Hopefully it is not too long but these kind of things require some days, a week, we'll see."

What do you think this win will do for confidence?

"It's always good to win games. We won one game the other day in the Conference League, so two in a row. Hopefully we can build some momentum from there and to continue to improve.

"For us, the target in this moment is to see the way we improve. They are just asking me now about different things that no one from the club asked me to compete for the Premier League or a Champions League spot. They just asked me to improve the players, improve the team, and also in this moment the targets is to solve the economic problem in terms of the reason why we need to sell players and do some things.

"If we solve these kind of problems, and from there, we try to do our best and see where we arrive."
