"He will be a Monster if He finally joins Chelsea, and I wouldn’t allow that to happen if I were Arteta, though I’ve already made up My mind to highjack the deal as soon as possible to Avoid competition’: Pep Gaudiola was blown away by the 28-year-old who agreed on joining Chelsea this Morning.

Chelsea have turned their back on Victor Osimhen as they set their sights on Brentford striker Ivan Toney this summer. The Blues quest to find a perfect option who could rival players like Nicolas Jackson and possibly create competition for options like Mykhailo Mudryk has increased as the new manager feels his current squad is still lagging in clinical finishing.

According to reports, Chelsea have named Ivan Toney as their next target after Victor Osimhen turned down Chelsea’s proposals on making a loan move for him since they haven’t been able to cut down his huge release clause.

Meanwhile, Skysport have reported that Brentford valued Ivan Toney for a transfer fee of £45 million, which is reportedly lower and more affordable for the Blues to make a permanent move for the player before the window shuts down.

Ivan Toney was earlier valued at a transfer fee of £70 million, which was reportedly huge for most clubs to provide an offer. However, Saudi Club Al Ahli had tackled the deal with just £35 million and was turned down.

Now, it seems the bees are in need of potential suitors since they may be at risk of losing the player for a free transfer when the twelve months count down.

Brentford have reportedly brought the asking price down to £45 million, and it seems this is because they haven’t gotten more significant interest from clubs that were previously linked with a move for the young star.

The England international would be a perfect addition to Enzo Maresca’s squad if Chelsea finalized the deal for the 28-year-old.

Chelsea aren’t the only club working on the deal. Recent reports have claimed that Liverpool, Arsenal, and Saudi clubs have reunuted in the pursuit of the player’s signature, and it seems Chelsea could also be at risk of missing out on the deal if any delay arises in making an early offer.

The Blues have already added Joao Felix to their striker list, and it seems Ivan Toney could be the last option as Enzo Maresca keeps his quest for a new name active.
