Chelsea have sidelined most of their academy graduates from participating in their childhood club, as recent reports have already claimed that the Blues will be without fourteen players before next season.

Enzo Maresca has already gotten his 26-man training options ahead of this season, with the likes of Trevor Chalobah and Raheem Sterling reportedly rumored as their futures remain in the air. Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca had already taken to SkpSport about not including most of the players during the 0-2 defeat at Stanford Bridge.

Speaking ahead of the press conference, Enzo Maresca said, ‘I know as much that they needed to be here, but sometimes you have to make decisions”. Chelsea already had most of their academy players exiting West London during the opening of the summer transfer window.

The Blues completed the deal for Conor Gallagher, who had previously been linked with a move to Athletico Madrid earlier this month, though some setbacks arose as Samu Omorodion’s deal collapsed.

However, Chelsea’s bid for Joao Felix, who emerged as a perfect replacement for Samu, was accepted, and Athletico had their dream signing, Conor Gallagher, who traveled to the Spanish side this morning.

Chelsea now hope to give in on Trevor Chalobah’s move as Enzo Maresca increases his desire to get the deal done before the window shuts on the 30th. The Blues initially indicated that they would be without the Englishman, as Maresca had earlier snubbed him following the preseason tour in the USA. The player was later banned from training at Cobham, with all this adding to his move away from west London.

Meanwhile, Trevor had admitted he was willing to give in all he could for Chelsea, but the manager seems to have turned down his dreams. According to reports, Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest have made plans to sign the young star.

Nottingham, meanwhile, was initially turned down by the player, and it seems he would be opting to move to either of the remaining options, Manchester United or Aston Villa.

Endo Maresca is set to fast-forward the deal, as Chelsea could finalize the move for the young star before the weekend as they set more players on their radar.
